"By command of heaven", the exclusive miniseries starring Andrew Garfield and Daisy Edgar-Jones, will release the 10 August through the Star+ platform.

Created by Oscar winner Dustin Lance Black, this new series is inspired by the bestseller of the same name, written by Jon Krakauer.

The series revolves around the murder of Brenda Wright Lafferty (performed by Edgar-Jones) and her young daughter in a suburb of Salt Lake Valley, in 1984.

While Detective Jeb Pyre (Andrew Garfield) investigate the events that occurred within the Lafferty family, begins to uncover hidden truths about the origins of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the violent consequences of dogmatic and uncompromising faith. What Pyre discovers, a devout mormon, will lead you to question your own faith.

The cast of the miniseries is completed by Sam Worthington, Denise Gough, Wyatt Russell, Billy Howle, Gil Birmingham, Adelaide Clemens, Rory Culkin, Seth Numrich, Chloe Pirrie y Sandra Seacat.
