With the aim of promoting the social inclusion of musical activity, UNESCO approved a Buenos Aires project carried out by Estudio Urbano. He himself was chosen from 480 applications applied worldwide.

In this way, the training space of the General Directorate of Music of the City will have the possibility of expanding its training programs in vulnerable neighborhoods of Buenos Aires.

The election was in charge of the Committee of the Convention of 2005 UNESCO, on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions.

Under the title "Empowerment of young residents in disadvantaged geographical areas of the City of Buenos Aires to strengthen their creative and work capacities in the music sector", the project aims to promote creation, music production and distribution by youth; and promote access to the labor market through vocational training in music industry trades.

For it, for years Estudio Urbano has been developing inclusion policies for populations in vulnerable areas of the city. From 2019 the work of institutional alliances with different City agencies and cultural organizations that work in those territories was strengthened. UNESCO recognition represents a significant contribution to the formalization of the area, since it will allow the incorporation of equipment and the expansion of beneficiaries.

The target population of these actions, for whom access to both the technological recording device and training programs for professional and labor development is expensive, You will get the possibility of training in trades related to the music industry, strengthen your project management capabilities, register your phonographic material in a professional way and be part of the live music circuit that Estudio Urbano has supported for more than ten years.

further, by expanding the capacity of the recording studio, it will be possible to increase the number of projects recorded each year, as well as the number of students received in the workshops that use this space.
