Within the framework of the proposed Natural Usina Community, the traditional Buenos Aires venue located in the La Boca neighborhood launched an open call for resident gastronomic artists throughout the national sphere.

The purpose of this proposal is to make visible and value the artistic processes linked to sustainability and recycling, the diversity of gastronomic cultures throughout the country and eating habits that respect the environment and local traditions.

The call is part of Open Culture: a call plan for all cultural doers who seek to support the work of the sector, accompany him on his return - which started on Friday 18 with initial capacity of 30 percent- and reactivate the cultural life of the City.

In this way, it is proposed to make visible the diversity of gastronomic cultures throughout the country by inviting chefs and sustainable projects. Projects for children or adults may be presented in the following categories: gastronomy of the future (new recipes, cooks and internships) and art, recycling and sustainability. The multidisciplinary approach of the proposals that generate new approaches and resignifications will be valued..

A jury of experts, led by gastronomic curator Juliana López May, will select the eight winning projects who will be part of the face-to-face programming of the Usina del Arte.
