La Usina del Arte is still looking for musicians from all over the country
Until the 7 July the Usina del Arte continues its search for musicians from all over the country, within the framework of the virtual call for your proposals USINA TV and 20SESIONES21.
The purpose of this proposal is to continue promoting a quality cultural agenda and support the music sector. In that context, all groups or soloists can register for both calls online.
Registration is simple and can be done by clicking on the links to TV PLANT Y 20SESSIONS21. It should be noted that both proposals are part of the Open Culture plan.
It is worth noting that the USINA TV national call is aimed at video clips that have been recorded in Argentina and released between 2020 Y 2021. This initiative seeks to reward not only the music but also all the creative teams that behind each song create worlds for the screens.
If originally the video clip was a massive dissemination tool that changed the path of music and its scope, in this age of screens and monitors, this audiovisual piece is a work by itself. And although it is usually a presentation format for singers or groups, carries behind an important multidisciplinary and collective work of creation.
The national call 20SESIONES21 is aimed at musical performances performed in a pandemic context. It is a call to artists from all over the country who have made and premiered, between April 1, 2020 and the 7 July 2021, Live musical audiovisual material in the categories: record premieres, face-to-face concerts, via streaming, outdoors or indoors, dj sets or other types of musical performances.
A committee made up of figures of recognized trajectory within the artistic and sociocultural field will select 30 (thirty) projects for each call within the musical genres of jazz, tango, folklore, rock, pop, electronic music, urban music (rap, trap, reggaeton, others) and author's song. The winning projects will be scheduled in 2021 on virtual platforms of the City Government.
The results will be available from the day 12 July 2021 Through the Website and on the social networks of Usina del Arte.
