“Dog loves”, the debut of the extraordinary director Alejandro González Iñárritu, released on 13 May of 2000 at the Critics' Week at the Cannes Festival, will have a Gala Function at the 18th edition of the Morelia International Film Festival (Ficm).

The restored version of the Critics' Week Grand Prix winning film, nominated for an Oscar for Best Foreign Language Picture, ganadora de once premios Ariel y decenas de galardones internacionales, will be presented at FICM within the framework of the 20th anniversary of its premiere.

As detailed from the organization of the Morelia International Film Festival, "It is a great honor to be one of the exhibition platforms of the restored version of this film that transformed the national film industry and is considered a milestone in the history of Mexican cinema.".
