Larisa Andreani will be the new president of arteBA
Businesswoman Larisa Andreani was elected as president of arteBA, a position in which it will be seconded by the lawyer and collector Eduardo Mallea, as announced by the homonymous foundation that is in charge of organizing the most important art fair in the local market.
With these brand new appointments, the organization seeks to leave behind the successive resignations and controversies that were generated in recent months.
“As a result of a process of listening and dialogue that involved various actors from the art world, Larisa Andreani and Eduardo Mallea were appointed President and Vice President of arteBA”, The organization's spokesmen reported today through a statement.
Andreani has extensive experience in organization management as director of the homonymous courier company but, at the same time, She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Food Bank and is very involved in the cultural sphere.
He has been a member of the Friends Association of the Museum of Modern Art of Buenos Aires since 2015 and since August of this year he was a member of the Board of Directors of arteBA.
The businesswoman will preside over arteBA after the resignation of Amalia Amoedo -who had assumed last year as the first president in the almost three decades of the foundation's history.- and his replacement Juan Carlos Lynch, who resigned last August.
