Visual arts come together in the Notable Summer cycle

In three Buenos Aires classics, Café San Bernardo, Bar El Colonial and Café La Poesía, works and interventions by contemporary visual artists will be exhibited, as part of the Notable Summer cycle.

To enjoy contemporary art in a different way, comes a special dialogue between three visual artists and three Notable Bars. The appointment will be in three classics that are a symbol of the City: Café San Bernardo, Bar El Colonial and Café La Poesía. The initiative is carried out within the framework of the cycle “Remarkable Summer”, organized by the Ministry of Culture of the City, through Patrimonio BA, from which the notables of Buenos Aires present live cultural programming.

The 24 February, the artist Santiago Paredes, by Moria Gallery, will present an intervention -of hanging fabrics and vases created for the occasion- specially developed for Café San Bernardo, in the neighborhood of Villa Crespo.

Meanwhile, presented by the Arts District, since Thursday 4 of March, Ariel Cusnir, by Pasto gallery, will present a series of works entitled "Una Jornada" at El Colonial in the Monserrat neighborhood.

From the 10 of March, it will be Ornella Pocetti's turn, by El Mirador Foundation, that will present the exhibition "Fantasmagorias", curated by Joaquín Barrera, at the La Poesía bar in the San Telmo neighborhood. Within the framework of this exhibition, The artist will also present her book "Earth you will eat every day of your life" with Joaquín Barrera and Marcos Krämer and other guests to be confirmed.

The initiative is a co-production of Patrimonio BA, Visual arts, and Arts District, through the General Directorate of Cultural and Creative Development, dependent on the Ministry of Culture of the City.

The samples can be viewed simultaneously, until the 31 of March, at the following times:

Café San Bernardo – Of. Corrientes 5436, Villa Crespo.

Monday to Saturday from 9 a 1 am and Sundays of 18 a 1am.

From the 24 February

El Colonial Bar – Of. Belgrano 599, Monserrat.

Monday to Friday from 7 at 7pm and Saturdays from 9 a 14h.

From the 4 of March.

The Poetry Bar – Chile 502, San Telmo.

Monday to Monday from 8 a 1 am.

From the 10 of March.
