The Ministry of Culture of Mexico City and the Ministry of Culture of the City of Buenos Aires reached an agreement in order to unite their cultural information and digital platforms.

In this way the programming of the Cultural Capital sites in Our House (Mexico) and Culture at Home (CABA) will offer their content together, generating an extensive program that will house the various disciplines that make up the cultural life of both entities.

Cabe señalar que ambas urbes forman parte de la Comisión de Cultura de la Organización de Ciudades y Gobiernos Locales Unidos (CGLU). This has allowed a greater understanding of the most urgent needs that the Latin American continent is going through in its fight against the spread of the coronavirus. (Covid-19), so in both countries it has been called to stay at home and keep a healthy distance.

Likewise, Buenos Aires is currently the Ibero-American Capital of Cultures (CIC) and Mexico City will be in 2021, both were designated by the international organization of the Union of Ibero-American Capital Cities (UCCI) in recognition of their participation and promotion of culture. Thus, the capitals of Mexico and Argentina maintain the cultural rights of their inhabitants in force by enabling the approach, from homes, to the diverse cultural and artistic expressions sponsored by the cultural institutions of the two countries.
