Flowers Daniel García will be exhibited at the Gallery Dulce Mar

“Small flower paintings” is the name of the new exhibition –the fourth- that the Rosario artist Daniel García will carry out at the Mar Dulce Gallery, located on Uriarte 1490 from the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Palermo.

The exhibition will start from Saturday 23 of March and will remain open until Saturday 4 of May, the hours of 15 a 20 (of Mars to Saturdays).

García is a prominent artist born in 1958, where in the currently resides and performs. This is a painter who exhibits from 1981, with participations ranging from group and individual exhibitions, both of the local and international scope.

Within the framework of this exhibition, the poet Gilda Di Crosta (with whom García published the book 2012) mentions the scene that is repeated in the artist's creations: “a vase or glass with flowers on a fragment of support surface and a smooth or tiled background” and adds: “In each, the flowers are standing, mixed up, out of their habitat, exposed fully before who observes them. Some sets more generous than others, they alternate moderation and the exuberance of plant life. In the repetition, the variation occurs in colors and types of flowers, in the different vases or glasses, that to your time, In some of them images of flowers are reiterated or a episode, smoothness or transparency”.

On the other hand, the gallery will also present its classic sample +COLECTIVE57, a curatorship of works made by María Elina, Thulium from Sagastizábal, Camila Vilar, Florence Delboy, Hey Silvi, Raoul Veroni, Pablo Mattioli, Johanna Wilhelm, Daniel Santoro, Marina Zanollo, Ral Verona, Thousands, Ximena Ibanez, Carla Colombo, JC Romero, Dina Roisman, Loreley Flores, Maria Luke, Cecilia AE, Angela Corti, Patricia Tewel, Decur, Lola Goldstein, Fabio Risso Pino, Sofia Wiñazki, Sofia Alvarez Watson, Maricel Rodríguez Clark, Josefina Jolly, Susana Couples, Rocío Fernández Fuks and Alejandro Pasquale.
