The achievements of the book "It could be me", recorded by Alicia D'Amico's camera are already on display at the National Museum of Fine Arts, where they can be seen to 2 of April.

This exhibition recreates on the second floor of the traditional Buenos Aires venue the essay on the daily life of the popular sectors published in 1987 by researchers Elizabeth Jelin and Pablo Vila, with images of the artist

The exhibition includes a total of 46 images taken by the prominent Argentine artist, under the curatorship of the artist and researcher Agustina Triquell.

From the exhibition of the work of D'Amico (1933-2001), there is a talk that will be held this Friday 10 starting at 18 hours under the heading “Proximity and distance”, in order to delve into the crosses raised in the room and in the book.

the meeting, free and free entry, will have the participation of researchers and artists Laura Gutiérrez, Sergio Caggiano, Francisco Medail and Juan Cruz Pedroni.

About the sample, the director of the museum Andrés Duprat explained that Alicia D'Amico has been "one of the most outstanding Argentine photographers of the 20th century". In turn, he added that "through his works, we see his sensitive and humanistic look, and his interest in the social context, the fledgling feminist cause and literature, among other topics.

In the text and in the sample, D'Amico's photographic record is organized into six chapters, that address issues such as the various ways of earning a living for the urban popular sectors, the migration, life in democracy, the various waiting situations and the relationship of women with leisure time.

This exhibition can be visited in the room 42 from the museum, With free entry, Tuesday through Friday 11 a 20 and on Saturdays and Sundays, of 10 a 20 hours.
