Under the program Narratives Crusades, under its Fashion Hub, Thursday 11 July inaugurate the project "Transurrealismo. Art and gender diversity ", with works by Mariette Lydis to be exhibited alongside achievements of contemporary artists.

This sample will be carried out at the Eduardo Sívori Museum, starting at 18.30, where in addition to a wide range of activities for the entire community it may take place.

With respect to exposure, the public who comes to the site located on Avenida Infanta Isabel 555 You will be able to see creations that relate to the daily choices that emerge from social movements and cultural.

In that context, and curated by Teresa Riccardi -Director of Sívori- Museum, The exhibition (which will occupy halls A and B) will bring together more than 200 pieces: about 40 Sivori Collection paintings donated in life by Mariette Lydis, more works and a timeline with footage provided by the belt and the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes family.

On the other hand you will also appreciate photographs, photographic plates, books illustrated by Lydis, glass plates of his works, letters and documentary material, among others. All these elements provide a biographical sketch of this great Austrian artist who settled in Buenos Aires in 1940, city ​​where he died in 1970. Likewise, during the sample, Jorge and Cristina Correa officially presented his book for Mariette Lydis.

Simultaneously, Marcelo Pombo works will be exhibited, Cecilia Szalkowicz, Begoña Cortazar, Patricio Gil Flood, Paulina Silva Hauyon, dungeon Xixa, Malena Pizani and Effi Beth, among other contemporary artists whose production dialogue with the imprint of Mariette Lydis.
