The paintings of María Luque arrive at the Mar Dulce Gallery
"New Roses" is the name of the brand new exhibition that the Galería Mar Dulce will present starting on Saturday 6 May and which brings together the works of the artist María Luque.
Starting at 16, the traditional enclosure of Uriarte 1490 will begin the sample that can be enjoyed until the first of July.
In this way, "New Roses" becomes the fourth individual exhibition of Luque in the gallery, this time with a selection of 23 recent paintings with vibrant colors in gouache on paper.
Born in Rosario and based in Buenos Aires, the artist expresses clearly drawn objects and beings through her work, as well also, dead nature, books, gatos, dogs, flores, reproductions of works of the great masters, frames and full color compositions fascinating.
Memories of plants and flowers of different species appear in his creations, like poppies, eucalyptus, fuchsias and jasmine. There will also be space for the woman who sold bouquets and left advice so that those flowers live much longer..
The artist's works were seen in museums and galleries not only in our country, but also from Chile, Peru, Mexico and Spain.
She currently works as an editorial illustrator and coordinates workshops. In 2011 He created the project "Snack drawing", a series of meetings with artists. She is cofounder of the Furioso Festival Drawing. He participated in "Report, Cartoon Argentina of the XXI century”, published by the Editorial Municipal de Rosario.
