For only two face-to-face functions, the puppet show "Lazarillo del Riachuelo" will be presented at El Galpón de Catalinas.

Presentations will be on Saturdays 21 Y 28 -from August 19- in the enclosure located on Benito Pérez Galdós 93, in the neighborhood of La Boca, with tickets that are for sale and can be purchased by doing Click here!

With dramaturgy by Gonzalo Guevara and direction by Claudia Quiroga, this work is aimed at teenagers (older than 12 years) and adults, with a proposal that includes puppets, masks and an actor.

"Lazarillo del Riachuelo" is a free version of "La vida del Lazarillo de Tormes", adapted to current Buenos Aires, that invites reflection dealing with poetic and beauty the problem of childhood in the street.

In that context, the viewer will meet a child raised on the street, that he will learn the trade from the hand of the characters that are forming it or, rather, deforming.

There a cartonero cart will parade, as a mobile scenery, that will be a symbolic protagonist and will function as a bed, trunk, altarpiece and table, among other things.

"Lazarillo del Riachuelo" will tell his story in a tender tone, ironic and ruthless, since the text will show the vices and hypocritical attitudes of society.
