Led Zeppelin will meet for the making of a documentary
After some obvious delays, caused by the advance of the pandemic, finally the documentary project about Led Zeppelin already has a name and the confirmation of the presence of its members.
“Becoming Led Zeppelin” (Becoming Led Zeppelin) is the title of the production that will be directed by Bernard McMahon (responsible for the great "American Epic", a work that showed the impact of the roots of North American music in the world) and the presence of vocalist Robert Plant, guitarist Jimmy Page and bassist John Paul Jones, surviving members of the iconic band that marked an era between the late 1960s and 1980.
This documentary, also, will be the first in 50 years of having the original musicians of the quartet that was also part of the late drummer John Bonham.
McMahon explained to the North American media Variety that this realization will be "unprecedented" and that "no one thought it could have been done", thanks to the participation of Plant, Page y Jones.
"Becoming Led Zeppelin" will reflect the meteoric rise to the top of one of the most important bands in the history of rock and roll in a way rarely seen., thanks to the recovery and restoration of unpublished audio and video material.
It should be noted that each of the surviving members of Zeppelin allowed himself to be interviewed exclusively for this documentary.
Finally, fans will have to wait as the film's official release date was not confirmed.
