born in 1967, the historic artists who knew how to combine humor and music like no one else decided to say goodbye after what was stated by Carlos López Puccio and Jorge Maronna, the latter one of the founding members of the group.
According to López Puccio, artist who has been in the group since 1971, “As we get closer to the 80 our muscles and joints anticipate that they will soon begin to present impediments to us”, beyond that currently "we feel very vital, and artistically we believe we are at our best moment”.
Meanwhile, Maronna indicated that it will not be easy "to conclude this wonderful work that we have enjoyed since we were very young., nor say goodbye to the public that follows and supports us, but Mastropiero deserves to rest after so many years of adventures”.
The farewell will begin in Buenos Aires, with a show that will bear the name of "Más stumbling blocks of Mastropiero", which at the same time will praise the career of the famous composer.
