The Ibero-American Festival of Ideas arrives at Cultural San Martín
Under the slogan “We think about the future of cities”, the Ibero-American Festival of Ideas will take place from 2 al 6 November through the YouTube channel of Cultural San Martin, to celebrate the designation of Buenos Aires as the Ibero-American Capital of Cultures.
In coincidence with the 50 years of the San Martín cultural center, the festival will bring together artists online, academic, scientists and figures from Argentina, Spain, Colombia and Mexico, in five panels in which they will discuss concepts and issues related to the transformation and future of cities.
Culture, ambient, mobility, digital disruption, Building Citizenship, education, genders and diversity are the topics to be discussed, in relation to urban frameworks, reported from the cultural center.
La idea del festival es “dialogar e intercambiar ideas acerca de los desafíos y oportunidades que nuestras ciudades, especially the big cities, tienen hacia adelante a partir de la crisis de Covid-19”, Diego Berardo said, General Director of El Cultural San Martín.
Meanwhile, the city's Minister of Culture, Enrigue Avogadro, noted that “este festival valoriza el patrimonio cultural y es una expresión de nuestra diversidad identitaria”.
Each of the talks will be broadcast live through the YouTube channel of El Cultural San Martín.
