Between Wednesday 16 and on Friday 18 August will be held free of charge on FIME, First International Festival of Electroacoustic Music in the Room of CCK Argentina.

It is a meeting of composers, scientists, musicians, teachers and students from Argentina, United States and France, that will make up an artistic laboratory of the highest international level, under the curatorship of Gustavo Basso.

The objective of this important meeting will be to provide a broad overview of this current, emphasizing its mixed music variants, as well as live electronics and multimedia.

Within this context, The world leaders of the genre will be present during the festival, como Mario Mary (Argentina / Monaco), Daniel Backgi (Argentina / France) y Hans Tutschku (Germany / United States). On the other hand, there will be the presence of prominent national and international instrumentalists, universities and other educational institutions.

Tickets for this meeting are totally free, so the order of arrival will be respected, until capacity of the room. On the other hand, no prior reservation is required.

While, and due to the characteristics of the genre, requiring high quality electroacoustic systems, that offer the possibility of appreciating the spatial and timbral subtleties of the works, During the festival a multi-channel sound projection system of 24 speakers, manufactured especially to adapt to the acoustics of the Argentina Room, located in the cultural area of ​​Sarmiento street 151.
