The fourteenth edition of the CineMigrante festival arrives
Between 20 and the 30 In September, the fourteenth edition of the traditional CineMigrante festival will take place in different venues under the motto "On the limit of the visible".
“CineMigrante” will take place on this occasion at the Cultural San Martín, the CCK and Cinema Gaumont, With free entry.
As explained by the organization, On this occasion, the meeting “opens towards a cinema that eludes the frame and flees from capture., in a gesture of flight to form ground, small habitable plots”.
Within that context, all participating proposals will be framed under two types of curatorship: “Signs of habitable plots” and “Ghost materials”.
The first one is made up of seven programs that will give space to a cinematography that "conspires some strategies for the flight of minority voices and lives, of the captures of western modernity; transitions from one living being to another, where the body then becomes the instrument of new epistemologies and a fragile night cinema”.
The programs that make up this first part are "The fugue is a collective futurity", “Discern the glimmer of possibility”, "The boat is open", “A place that undoes”, Where are your monuments??”, "Where are your files??” and “on what ground do you walk?”
The curators of "Indications of habitable plots" will be Almudena Escobar López (Spain), Olivier Marbouef (France) and Florence Mazzadi (Argentina).
Meanwhile, “Ghost Materials” is a curatorship made up of 3 programs: "Name", “Spell reel” y “Mined soil + transmission from the liberated zones”, cuya curaduría recae en el francés Olvier Marbouef.
