The mega-exhibition of the National Salon of Visual Arts arrives

Within the framework of the 110th edition of the National Salon of Visual Arts, All the selected and awarded works will be exhibited at the Kirchner Cultural Center and the Borges Cultural Center.

The exhibition will be officially inaugurated on 7 December and can be enjoyed until 26 January with free admission. In total they will be exhibited 250 works belonging to artists of different generations and territories of the Argentine Republic.

Under the organization of the Palais de Glace, will be exhibited 127 works in the Borges, while the 123 the rest will be exposed in the CCK. Both entities also collaborate in the realization of the proposal together with the Ministry of Culture, the Secretariat of Cultural Heritage and the National Directorate of Museums.

Regarding the awarded works, is about 49 embodiments. On the other hand, the 43 best works of the nine categories (fire arts, Drawing, Sculpture, Non-Disciplinary Space, graphic photography, Facilities and Alternative Media, Painting, textiles) and six best works acquisition of the set of categories:

Two Presidency of the Nation Awards for the first best work: $750.000 c/u.

Two Awards for the second best work: $500.000 c/u.

Two Awards for the third best work: $380.000 c/u.

Non-acquisition award to the first best work in each category: $170.000 c/u.

Non-acquisition award to the second best work in each category: $120.000 c/u.

Non-acquisition award to the third best work in each category: $90.000 c/u.

As an integral part of the contest on Monday 12 December at 18 h, in the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes (MNBA), The exhibition of the donated works of the winners of the National Artistic Trajectory Award is inaugurated, instance also organized by the Palais de Glace – National Palace of Arts with the Ministry of Culture, the Secretariat of Cultural Heritage and the National Directorate of Museums. The works will become part of the heritage of the MNBA and can be visited until 26 February of 2023.
