The second edition of the RUIDO Festival arrives at the CCK

Organized jointly between the Kirchner Cultural Center and the Sound Art Center (Case) of the Ministry of Culture of the Nation, This Friday the second edition of the experimental music cycle RUIDO will be held.

It will run until Sunday with free admission and a program of activities that includes more than twenty hours of concerts, A fair, an open karaoke and a collective improvisation workshop.

Numerous commissions will be performed by the RUIDO Festival, premieres and works adapted for the occasion, and there will be the participation of important artists from Uruguay, Chile and France. further, the public from the country and abroad will be able to listen to the festival through Radio CASo, in an ongoing program that will include interviews with artists and correspondents.

The programming includes audiovisual commissions to ARO and QOA, a concert by the Reynols and a series of premieres: YOTO's first opera, a site-specific work by Sol Rezza and new acoustic compositions in the hands of EL ESTRECHO )|( and Gabriela Areal. There will be performances by electronic luthier j.crowe, the singer marax, the noisemaker Pablo Reche and the guitarist Jorge Espinal.

International visiting list includes electronic duo CampoSanto (Uruguay) and three sound performers from Chile: Rodrigo Araya, Barbara Gonzalez and Fernando Godoy. further, Frederic Blondy (France) will perform – at the Klais Opus of the National Auditorium – the work OCCAM XXV for solo organ, composed together with his compatriot Éliane Radigue. It will be the first time that the music of the radical French composer is played on a stage in our country. Finally, OCCAM Ocean will be edited. The music of Éliane Radigue by her performers, first publication in Spanish about the composer (translated from the renowned magazine Sound American).

The Noise Festival 2022 has the support of the French Embassy, the French Institute of Argentina, the Embassy of Chile in Argentina, Matta Cultural Center, Tsonami Sound Art Chile, the National Directorate of Culture of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Uruguay, the Embassy of Uruguay in Argentina, Amplify Digital Arts Initiative y el British Council.

It is important to note that tickets for the concerts at the National Auditorium and the Sala Argentina require a reservation., which can be made in the publications corresponding to the agenda per day of the Festival from Tuesday 6 of September. The rest of the concerts and activities do not require ticket reservation.
