MALa recently became the first Latin American crypto-art museum to open its virtual doors offering a new market to explore..

This new proposal offers the Latin American artistic world the possibility of hosting NFT works in different stores, where the 100 most recognized Latin American digital art artists offer their exclusive works.

However, What is an NFT work?, First of all, its acronym means Non-fungible Token, being a digital good. Regarding the definition of Non-Fungible, it marks its unique meaning, indivisible, irreplaceable and has the ability to prove its scarcity.

In that context, if one speaks of works of art of the traditional and analogous type, would mean the same as acquiring the original painting and not a lithograph or a copy.

NFTs are the new collector's fetishes, or the collecting of the future, because they are based on blockchain technology and can be almost anything digital, like a drawing, music, a tweet or video and they have economic speculation value as they may cost more in the future, as already seen in the cases of million-dollar sales of crypto art where making money is very easy if you invest in the right artist.

MALa will exhibit its NFT collections on the OpenSea platform and is the only Latin art museum that combines the artistic-commercial trend of buying and selling works of art and the global trend. “Crypto”, generating a unique model where both the artist who sells and the collector who buys and sells, earn money staggered and exponentially.

Another of the museum's proposals is to connect artists, constantly evolving, with the world's leading collectors. Thanks to his curatorship, it is easier to find the avant-garde artists with the greatest projection so sought after by collectors.
