The young actor Lorenzo Ferro was honored for his work in "The Angel", Luis Ortega film, within the framework of the fifth edition of the Iberoamerican Film Award Phoenix.

Ferro won the Best Actor award in the field in which they participated 20 fiction feature films and ten documentaries.

In that context, were outstanding achievements of our country, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Paraguay and Dominican Republic, among others.

Whoever played the serial killer Carlos Robledo Puch was present at the ceremony that took place at the Esperanza Iris theater in Mexico City, where he received the award from the Spanish actress Paz Vega.

Lorenzo Ferro shared a shortlist with Gael García Bernal, Rodrigo Santoro, Javier Gutiérrez and Daniel Giménez Cacho.

Meanwhile, "El Ángel" continues to premiere in other markets, like spanish, in canada, United States and France. It will also be the production that will represent Argentina in the selection of Best Foreign Language Film at the Oscar Awards of the Hollywood Academy and Best Ibero-American Film at the Goya Awards of the Spanish Academy.

In our country, the film was a box office success, becoming the most viewed national premiere of 2018, with a total of more than 1.300.000 viewers.
