With a strict sanitary protocol, dance studios in the City of Buenos Aires may reopen their doors to offer face-to-face classes.

As reported by the Buenos Aires authorities, the activity may be resumed for both public and private establishments, as long as the protocol that marks a limited presence of students is respected, who must show up with an early turn.

Another point that marks the protocol for this return is that each class must have a maximum duration of one hour. It should be noted that these measures will be respected by the staff of each establishment, students and providers.

The opening for the activity of these establishments meant "great news", as explained by the Buenos Aires chief of staff Felipe Miguel, who also explained that it is a measure "for all those who are dedicated to teaching this art, that were greatly affected by this pandemic ”and added: “It recharges our energies to see that, slowly, we are resuming face-to-face instances that make us meet again with the enormous artistic and cultural offer that we have in the City ".

The City had been working for a few months on the development of this protocol, in conjunction with dance studios. The measure joins the "comprehensive and gradual start-up plan of the City", as stated by the Buenos Aires Minister of Culture Enrique Avogadro.

The official said that among other activities, also appear “streaming for the music sector, theater, the bookstores, the art galleries, museums, libraries, advertising cinema and filming for film and tv recording ".

Avogadro emphasized the "reactivation of the cultural sector", since “there are many workers who mobilize our sector and it is essential that they return to work, just as people need to connect, in person, returned with culture ".
