Lumiton Studios meet 90 years and celebrate with the community
Saturday 17 December the Lumiton Studios will celebrate their 90 years of existence and will celebrate it with a wide variety of activities.
The festivities will begin at 20 and will extend to the 23.30 and among the proposals there is a special guided tour by Cinezoom, projections in 16 Y 35 mm and a new show of Sessions in the Casona, cycle that brings together artists in an intimate live music show.
Regarding the latter, who will musicalize the day will be Mariana Michi. Next to her will be Ana Clara Hipperdinger on the piano, generating a special atmosphere on a night of celebration.
Those present will have the opportunity to enjoy the exhibition "Lumiton: The label that set the course for national cinema”, that covers the history of the first modern sound film studio in Argentina and its founders: Susini, Guerrico and Carranza. Known as "Los locos de la azotea" along with Mugica, who were pioneers of radio, responsible for the first radio broadcast open to the world.
On the other hand, during the day the book "Lumiton: The label that set the course for national cinema”, publication that covers the history of the first Argentine sound film studios, from its creation to its closure. The narrative and audiovisual analysis of his films, of his aesthetic style, of its actors and actresses and the seal of its directors are the axis of the proposal.
