Written by Melisa Stocco and directed by Darío Castro, on Friday 10 September will premiere "Los Lázaros", the outstanding work of the program “Produce en el País” of the National Cervantes Theater (TNC).

The event will take place from the 21 in the City of Esquel Municipal Auditorium (Belgrano 330), from the province of Chubut.

"Los Lázaros" features performances by Jairo Bedoya Ruiz, Judith del Pino, Camila Guillard, Nené Guitart, Antü Paillacan Ocampo, Rubén Pasalacqua Nahuelan and Ileana Scaglia.

This work is located in the futuristic Patagonia Urania, more precisely in the year 2654. There seven animals of different species reappear after the mass extinction caused by man. Son “Lazaros”. They survive inside a strange museum where they keep fossil remains of sheep along with an invaluable collection of raw fleece and examples of the finest textile.. As museum guides or souls of indecipherable dimensions, the lazars concoct the memory of a past land and the resistance of the present.

Once released, the play will offer performances from Friday to Sunday (always the 21) and up 17 October, with free tickets (respecting the capacity of 30 percent).

It should be added that the TNC Public Management area will manage day and evening functions for groups, with subsequent talks-debate. further, Teacher and community training workshops and a talk on cultural accessibility will be held.
