The Association of Friends of the Cervantes National Theater again presented the María Guerrero Award, one of the most outstanding distinctions to the scenic arts that the country has.

After a long absence of five years, several cultural personalities met in the traditional Buenos Aires venue located on Libertad street.

One of those present was the Minister of Culture of the Nation, Tristan Bauer, who highlighted “the best of the art scene: its actors, actresses, directors, directors, scenery, adaptations, and to each one of those who participate in the theatrical experience”.

Meanwhile, the president of the association, Carolina Petroni, expressed his pride "for the new board of directors" for the fact of "relaunching the María Guerrero Awards in the local theater scene".

Gladys Contreras, Director of the Cervantes National Theater, highlighted that "at the award ceremony the theater community was very happy with the return of these awards, whose delivery had been interrupted and are now resumed”.

Then, we share the complete list with all the categories and winners, who were chosen through a jury made up of Jorge Dubatti, Carlos Fos, Maria Fukelman, Ignacio Gonzalez, Natacha Koss, Patricia Lanatta, Hector Madrigal, Pablo Mascareño, mercedes mendez, Carolina Petroni, Lorraine Peverengo, Flavia Pittella, Pamela Raponi, Dulcinea Segura Rattagan and Itziar Charter.
