Within the framework of the delivery of the Sur Awards to the cinematographic productions made during the past year, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of Argentina chose the film "Los Sonámbulos" as the national achievement that will fight to compete for an Oscar next year.

Organized jointly with the Department of Culture of the City of Buenos Aires, The Awards were presented in the gardens of the Enrique Larreta Museum of Spanish Art.
