“Abrazo” is the name of Luciana Jury's brand new studio album that will be presented live online from the Teatro Roma in Avellaneda.

The appointment will be this Friday 9 October from 20 hours, moment when the artist takes the stage with her band made up of Lucas Bianco on bass, Lautaro Matute on guitar, tiple y jarana and Leandro Savelón on percussion.

As for inputs, They have cost 300 pesos and can be purchased through the PlateaLive system.

"Abrazo" is the fourth album by the singer and songwriter from the province of Buenos Aires. Includes twelve songs from the Latin American songbook, interpreted and questioned from the gaze of a woman committed to her time and her territory. It was released in March and had a release date in April, but the pandemic delayed the plans.

Luciana Jury tells about the repertoire chosen for this new material: “I appealed once more to the memory of my own story and these songs appeared, that I once learned in my joyous search to discover what sounds identify us in this southern territory. This is how this record was built. A sound document, personal, from a time of deep struggles that are taking place today in the region. The resistance, the thirst for equality, to change everything, it's from love, what is art".

Regarding the title, confesses: “The name of the album was defined at the end of 2019 because the Hug is the gesture that has been holding us all these years. It seems super symbolic how we got here and how now this pandemic takes away that gesture, and make hugs dangerous, virtual or clandestine. In this situation, I still think the fight will be back to that, to this gesture, take us as long as it takes us, but to return to meet the other ".
