Luis Puenzo headed the second meeting of the Federal Assembly
During the day yesterday the second Federal Assembly of this year was held, convened by INCAA)and chaired by its highest authority, the filmmaker Luis Puenzo.
The Federal Assembly is the co-government body of the Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts and is chaired by the President of INCAA and made up of the highest cultural authorities of all the country's provinces and the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
In accordance with the cinema law 17.741 and its amendments, This second meeting was held to design and implement public policies aimed at strengthening the production and exhibition of Argentine audiovisuals in the country and abroad.
Within the agenda on which they worked, topics related to the design of the new promotion plan were touched; the program "Premiere Thursdays" that is carried out at CINE.AR, the INCAA screens; the articulation of INCAA with other government agencies; the new regional headquarters for Animation and new technologies of ENERC (National School of Experimentation and Filmmaking) to be inaugurated in the City of Mar del Plata; the next edition of the Mercado Ventana Sur in conjunction with the Marche Du Film of the Cannes Festival; the next Mar del Plata Film Festival; the development of space programs carried out by INCAA and which, despite the quarantine, continued to be active with great results such as MECIS (Collective Memory and Social Inclusion), Cinema in Cárceles, Mobile Cinema, among others.
