Madonna delivers her entire catalog to Warner Music
Madonna announced today an agreement with Warner Music to exploit its entire catalog to date, although it leaves the future productions of the female artist with the highest number of sales in history blank.
"From the beginning, Warner Music Group has helped me bring my music and vision to all my fans around the world with the utmost care and consideration.. They have been incredible partners and I am delighted to embark on this next chapter with them to celebrate my catalog of the latest 40 years", said the Queen of Pop, cited by the Variety site.
Madonna's compositions were already managed globally by Warner Chappell Music Publishing, so now your entire catalog is under one roof.
Until now, Madonna has sold records and singles for 300 millions of dollars, in addition to having won dozens of awards and grossed millions from concerts throughout his extensive career.
Total, the new agreement includes 17 simpler studio albums, soundtrack recordings, live albums and compilations.
According to the announcement, the agreement “anticipates the launch next year of an extensive series of catalogs that will revisit the groundbreaking music that made her an international icon”.
Madonna will personally curate the edits. (TELAM)
