The show arrives in May Madrijo Space Alley
Since Sunday 6 of May, Espacio Callejón will present the Madrijo show, written by Mariano Saba and directed by Horacio Roca.
With the protagonists of Ingrid Pelicori and Martín Urbaneja, the story centers on a mother and her child, who are torn between their tangled bond and the drama of a night that may be the last.
Madrijo can be seen every Sunday, from 20.45, until the 1 July at the Humahuaca Cultural Center 3759. As for inputs, They can be purchased at the box office of the place or through Alternative theatrical.
The context is not easy, since behind this story there is a hurt town and a factory taken. There, Walter will guard the entrance of the old cement factory where his companions try to resist.
But nevertheless, in the middle of the morning his mother Marta will arrive, who will seek to get him out of danger, even if that means pushing him away - once again- of their own decisions and ideals.
Madrijo turned out to be the winning work of the Germán Rozenmacher Prize for New Dramaturgy organized by the VIII International Festival of Buenos Aires (FIBA 2011) and the Ricardo Rojas Cultural Center (UBA). The contest had a jury made up of Mauricio Kartun, Susana Torres Molina and Matías Umpierrez. It was translated into English, in French and Portuguese and published in the Libros del Rojas Collection.
