This Friday the Museum of the Book and Language will present a unique tribute to the memory of Diego Armando Maradona as the creator of unforgettable strawberries for the language and idiosyncrasy of Argentines.

"The truths of 10" is the name of the meeting that can be seen from the 20 Through UNITV's Facebook Live and the YouTube channel of the Museum of the Book and Language, which will offer the possibility of enjoying the symbol of the Argentina Soccer Team as a creator of unforgettable phrases.

The news about Maradona's death was one of those events that triggered an almost unanimous feeling, a collective duel. Maria Moreno, current director of the Museum of the book and language and María Pia López, at that time Secretary of Culture and Media of the National University of General Sarmiento, shared thoughts and feelings about the death of the national hero. Thus arose a text dedicated to remembering and valuing one of the greatest abilities of the 10: his exquisite ability to create, no longer with dribbles but with words, new phrases and modes of the language.

From the text came the idea of a series of micros that compiles some of Maradona's unforgettable phrases: “smoke under water”, “the turtle escaped you”, “I was born in a private neighborhood. Deprived of water, of light…”, “pity nobody”, “I was wrong and I paid but the ball does not stain”; and the call for people who are dedicated to the task of words with the aim of rescuing and paying tribute to the linguistic inventions of the 10. Among them, Roberto Jacoby, Horacio Gonzalez, Diego Tatian, María Moreno and María Pia López themselves, Rita Cortese, Mara glozman, Alejandro Modarelli, Sofia de Mauro, Luis García and Gabriela Reznik.
