Mariana Masetto prepares the launch of her sixth studio work
The composer, cantante y percusionista Mariana Masetto se encuentra preparando el lanzamiento de lo que será “Je ne pensé qu’àtoi”, his sixth album in the world music genre.
The new album - which can be enjoyed on digital platforms starting this Saturday 30 of May- aims to propose a cross-cultural journey, with songs from Brazil (“I already know how to date” by Tribalistas, “Aquarela” de Toquinho y Mauricio Fabrizi” y “Debaixo dos caracóis dos seus cabelos” de Roberto Carlos y Erasmo Carlos). The plaque also contains a version of Sting's classic "Inshallah" and four of Masetto's own compositions., inspired by this current context of pandemic.
The artist, who has more than a decade of musical career (had its record start in “La Bumbunita” of 2010 -today name of the record label-), she is also a renowned yoga teacher, editor of the book “Our voice has a body”, declared of Cultural Interest by the Argentine Chancellery and presented last year in England.
