More of 600 artists of 34 galleries will be on the Artsy international commercial platform
A total of 600 national artists from 34 galleries will be part of the international commercial platform Arsty.
In this way, the Argentine Chamber of Contemporary Art Galleries (Meridian) and the Argentine Investment and International Trade Agency (AAICI) of the Argentine Foreign Ministry will present this Wednesday in a virtual way a strategic alliance to promote and commercialize Argentine works on the aforementioned platform.
Meridiano and AAICI will implement a strategic action for the dissemination and promotion of national art in the world, through the presence of Argentine works on the Artsy platform (https://www.artsy.net/), from 7 October.
The webinar will be attended by Juan Usandivaras, executive president of AAICI, Leopol Mones Dogfish, president of Meridiano and Gabriela Brown, Artsy account executive.
More of 10 thousand works, at least 600 Argentine artists, figurarán en la plataforma virtual “líder en promoción, difusión y comercialización de obras de arte a nivel global”, informs the Meridiano statement, camera created in 2016.
The agreement contemplates the subscription of 34 galleries from different parts of the country, who will have a sustained and cross-promotional presence at Artsy, with a prominent Meridiano page on the international platform.
The alliance represents a great incentive for the sector and its international projection, con el impulso de “activación a nivel local y global”, according to the new reconfiguration in the forms of connection and trade with the world, accelerated with the health crisis.
Artsy, leader in the international online art market, have 3 thousand associated galleries in more than 100 countries and brings together the main galleries, museum collections, foundations, artist files, art fairs and charity auctions around the world.
