"Memories of the future", the new exhibition of the National Endowment for the Arts

The 28 April will arrive at the House of Culture of the National Endowment for the Arts "Memories of the future", the new exhibition that will feature the collective Cabinet Bone.

Integrated by Celina Saubidet and Marina Molinelli Wells, the collective will intervene in the architecture of the Casa de la Cultura with its design pieces, through a multidisciplinary crossing with history.

Built in the 1920s and declared a National Historic Monument, the venue will be intervened by Saubidet and Molinelli Wells with a series of pieces based on the concepts of Earth, Body and House.

In dialogue with the spaces of the House, the pieces speak of the current state of the Earth, the speed of urban life, species extinction and individualism, among other problems of the 21st century.

As Diana Saiegh explains, holder of the National Endowment for the Arts, with this exhibition "we seek to inhabit this historic House with expressions of today's art that challenge us and propose us to rethink the challenges of the contemporary world. In this case, an exhibition especially focused on design, one of the disciplines that are part of the FNA programs”.

Once opened, The exhibition will remain open until 28 May and can be visited from Thursday to Sunday from 14 a 19 hours in the enclosure located on Rufino de Elizalde 2831. On the other hand, During the duration of the exhibition, activations will be carried out every Sunday.
