Mendoza: The book that travels the 200 years of the San Martín library

"Rates of (in) stocks of the Mendozina Library 1822-2022” is the name of the book that runs through the 200 years of the traditional enclosure that General San Martín founded and that arrives as a result of an arduous investigation.

Regarding the presentation, there will be a panel made up of the Professor of Letters Gastón O. Bands; the librarian Adriana Conte, psychologist Victoria Zuin, members of the General San Martín Public Library and the Popular Library of Chacras.

Kevorkian planned his work as an object book that allows you to interact with its different pieces, to transform your reading into a dynamic and interactive experience. It is composed of three detachable parts and is divided into seven fragments, one for each place where the library was in its 200 years of life.

The content was elaborated with pieces from the General Archive of the Province, material from the oral memory of Library workers, archive images and drawings of boys and girls who made the guided tours in these years.

With the contribution of Cultural Editions of Mendoza, belonging to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the editorial piece was printed in the “Inca” workshops to be later finished in the binding workshops of the General San Martín Public Library.

The collective correction of the texts was in charge of Victoria Zuin, Mariana Herrera Blonde, Queen Elena, Alexandra Celi, Camillan, alex kiss, William Baron, Gaston O. Bandes and Alejandro Acin.
