When asked about how they have managed to stay united and current during 13 years, MUS responded that the key is in the strength of their friendship. “We always say that having a band is like having a romantic relationship with four people at the same time.”. Being able to stay together after so long has to do with that.”, they claim. further, They highlight the importance of the support of their followers, who have allowed them to continue growing. “The factor of the people who follow us is also fundamental because it allows us to continue betting on doing bigger and better things with every step we take”.

One of the most significant moments in his career was his return to the stage in 2017, after two years of absence. They played to a packed back room and realized the magnitude of what they had created.. “It dawned on us that what we had planted in the previous years was much bigger than the dream of five kids and had become something that belonged to our family that follows us everywhere”.

In a time where rock seems to have taken a backseat to other genres, MUS remains firm in its identity. “For us rock will always be part of our life, It was the genre that shaped us musically. Although today we are in a moment where it seems not to be in the foreground, It's always there.". They observe with interest how urban music and hip hop culture are increasingly incorporating elements of rock and metal, which demonstrates the persistence and evolution of the genre.

“Reflections of oneself”

The next MUS album, “Reflections of oneself”, It is the result of several years of work and deep personal experiences. “The concept of this album is based on experiences we have gone through in recent years.. The creative process was quite extensive., we start in the 2018 with the idea of composing a new album”. But nevertheless, The road was not easy. “At the end of 2018 and beginnings of 2019, I (Self) I fell into a pretty strong depression that almost didn't allow me to get out of bed.. So we had to pause the entire process.”.

Despite these obstacles, the band persevered and found in music a way to overcome adversity. “After receiving a lot of therapeutic help and support from my family and friends, I was able to get ahead. By the time that happened, the pandemic caught us, which stopped everything again.". Finally, in 2022, They dedicated themselves fully to the composition and production of the album, making sure that each song represented its evolution and essence.

The next 8 of June, MUS will perform at the Vorterix Theater, an emblematic stage for any musician in Buenos Aires. "For us, Being able to do your own show in a place as iconic as the Vorterix Theater is like touching the sky with your hands.. I think that for every musician in Buenos Aires it is a dream to get on that stage.

The band promises an unforgettable show full of surprises. “The show cannot be one more, It has to be THE SHOW. And what we have prepared is totally up to par.. “It is the biggest bet in our history and we plan a show very different from what you have ever been able to see.”.

The event will not only mark the official presentation of “Reflections of oneself”, but will also include a retrospective of his discography. “We are going to play almost our entire discography in 1 hour and 50 minutes of pure show, in total they are 27 songs we play.” Besides, there will be special guests who will contribute to the magic of the night. “For the people who have seen us or for those who have never seen us, this is the best MUS you will see live.
