The National House of the Bicentennial (CBN) recently presented "Monograph", a photographic exhibition under the curatorship of Guillermo Ueno, which is presented as part of the cycle Under a beam of light.

With free entry, The exhibition will remain open until 18 June and can be visited from Wednesday to Sunday from 15 a 20 hours in the Riobamba compound 985 (third floor).

Through this exhibition, the public will have the possibility to see a crossing: the poster as artwork, the work as a poster. Due, the attributes of poster culture, massive version of the original work for daily use in houses and rooms; the possibilities of the author's limited edition, version of work carried out in series that facilitates access to an original.

"Monographic" presents a game between the exclusive and the massive, between original and reproduction, between art and decoration. Poster that is worth as a work, work at the price of a poster, small conflict of legalities to rethink graphic editing as a political intervention.

The photographs of Guillermo Ueno are part of this exhibition, Florence Trincheri, Josephine Tomassi, Nacho Iasparra, valeria valliso, Florence Romero, Mariana Papagni and Cecilia Szalkowicz.

Vale recordar que el ciclo “Bajo un haz de luz” es una propuesta multidisciplinaria para celebrar la fotografía. It brings together screenings of films about photographers; presentation of the novel “24 photos”, by Andrea Ferrari (Alfaguara, 2022); pinhole photography workshop for young people and adults and the inauguration of "Monográfico", a sample of contemporary photographers.
