Under the name "700 years of the Divine Dante" the Roberto Fontanarrosa Cultural Center will inaugurate this Thursday 21 October an exhibition that brings together a selection of drawings by the prominent Miguel Rep..

The exhibition will be officially inaugurated from 18.30 and can be seen until 28 November in the Central Hall of the enclosure located on San Martín 1080, in Rosario.

It should be noted that the exhibition is held within the framework of the commemoration of the 700 anniversary of the death of Dante Alighieri, creator of the Divine Comedy.

These drawings by Rep are inspired by the creation of Alighieri and are organized by the General Consulate of Italy in Rosario, in collaboration with the Roberto Fontanarrosa Cultural Center and the Ministry of Culture and Education of the Municipality of Rosario.

The sample consists of 36 illustrations made by Rep (who will be present at the inauguration) in ink on paper, inspired by Hell, Purgatory and Paradise, the three parts of the legendary work of the Florentine poet.

This year, through embassies, consulates and different Italian institutions in the world, Tributes and celebrations are being carried out for the 700 years of the passage to the immortality of the "Sommo Poeta", the Supreme Poet, deceased a 14 September 1321. Dante Alighieri, father of the Italian language and brilliant creator of the Divine Comedy, left this extraordinary inheritance, an epic poem about life's big questions, death and fate of the human being.

Once opened, The exhibition can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday from 14 a 19 hours. It should be noted that schools that want to visit the exhibition may request shifts by writing to production-ccrf@rosario.gov.ar.
