Curated by Fernando Farina, began at the Museum of Fine Arts shows the tribute to the artist Graciela Sacco (1956-2017), it will be appreciated to 29 July with free admission.

During the opening of the exhibition, Andrés Duprat was present, director of the venue located on Avenida del Libertador 1473, who also presented the work "Who was?”, Sacco's last achievement.

The public that attends the exhibition will be able to see the most emblematic works of the artist, like those made in the 90s. Without a doubt, Sacco has been one of the most relevant creators within the Argentine contemporary art scene..

On the second floor of the cultural complex are located the works "Who was?”, in dialogue with “Victoria”, from the series “Melee”, “A spark is enough to set the prairie on fire” and posters from the series “Bocanada” and “Among us”, from the series “Waiting for the Barbarians”, Conceived in the mid-1990s 90.

According to the curator Farina, the exhibition is designed to "reflect the most important thing about Graciela: his deep critical spirit, his approach to constant criticism" and added: “She was not a typecastable artist, controllable. He was a politically incorrect person, who always put everything in question. That is in his work and it is what will remain in our memories and also in the history of Argentine art., where it deserves to have an important place”.

Meanwhile, Duprat highlighted Sacco, who "besides being an extraordinary artist, He was a person of great human quality, generous and caring". The director emphasized the latter since the honored artist "many times helped curators by donating her work because her presence gave prestige to a show or cultural event. His legacy perhaps lies in the marks he leaves in the visual memory of the country”.

Who was excited and grateful at the same time, it was Clara Garavelli, daughter of the artist, who expressed: “It is exciting that mom is here at the Museum, among the greats of Argentine art”.

The exhibition can be visited from Tuesday to Friday, of 11 a 20, while on Saturdays and Sundays the museum will remain open from 10 a 20.
