Norm McDonald died, Saturday Night Live star comedian
After an arduous fight against cancer that he kept secret and that lasted almost ten years, actor and comedian Norm McDonald - famous for his role in the Saturday Night Live strip- passed away at 61 years.
McDonald was one of the most famous comedians on the traditional comedy show, the one who entered 1993 after having been a screenwriter for "Roseanne".
Inside the program, its peak was a couple of years later, when it was his turn to head the sketch "Weekend Update". McDonald used to make prints of famous figures like Burt Reynolds, David Letterman, Larry King and Quentin Tarantino, among others.
Once off SNL, McDonald did "The Norm Show" for two years (1999 a 2001) with Bruce Helford on ABC. Along with him were other renowned artists such as Laurie Metcalf, Ian Gomez, Max Wright, Artie Lange y Faith Ford.
It also had its passage in the cinema, contributing his voice in the film “Dr. Dolittle”, “Billy Madison” y “The People vs. Larry Flynt”. In recent years, headlined a shipment of interviews on Netflix, “Norm Macdonald Has a Show” (2018).
