National rock has suffered a lot this week with the games of two great musicians such as Gady Pampillón and, so recent, Osvaldo ‘Bocón’ Frascino, who died at 70 years because of liver problems.

Frascino had a fundamental contribution to the origins of national rock, being part of Rabid Fish, the group that joined together with another unforgettable artist like Luis Alberto Spinetta and Black Amaya.

In that context, ‘Bocón’ signed iconic songs together with ‘Flaco’ like “I like that cut” and “The monster of the lagoon”. His participation in the band gave him the recognition of having been a member of the list of the best guitarists of Argentine rock that the Rolling Stone magazine prepared. (in the post 57).

At the same time, she was also part of Engranaje and was present on the recording of the first album by a female soloist, Carola Cutaia (on the album “Damas Negras”). Had a stint in Sacramento, where he played alongside other greats like Ciro Fogliatta and Alfredo Toth.
