The Buenos Aires Ministry of Culture presented the proposals in commemoration of a new anniversary for Independence Day in the networks of BA Museums, Heritage and Historic Center of the City. All proposals will be available on Instagram accounts @museosba, @patrimonioba and @cascohistoricoba and on the Cultura en Casa website.

First, BA Museums will commemorate the date with a workshop where the youngest will be able to learn with materials that they can find in their homes, metal embossing techniques, one of the techniques used in many of the objects in the silverware collection at the Isaac Fernández Blanco Hispanic American Art Museum. This digital workshop, is part of the "Little Artists" cycle that @museosba develops all year round, being one of the many actions within a comprehensive program of activities designed for children, carried out by the Ministry of Culture of the City of Buenos Aires.

A bridge between Buenos Aires and Tucumán

At the same time, the same thursday 9 July @cascohistoricoba proposes celebrating Independence Day by exploring the past and present of the City of Buenos Aires, with the emblematic events that led to the declaration in Tucumán.

Monday 13 of July, to 11, Historic Center and the Ministry of Education of the City of Buenos Aires present an "online class" for 4th grade boys, 5°, 67th and 7th grade to be broadcast on Instagram: @educacionba and @cascohistoricoba, en la que una docente conversará sobre los hechos con la historiadora Leontina Etchelecu (Director of the Cornelio Saavedra Historical Museum).

9 data on the avenue 9 of July

The @patrimonioba area will tell how the appointment of the emblematic avenue of Buenos Aires took place, in commemoration of Independence Day. On their social networks, will disseminate information about the Avenue 9 July since the year 1912, in which the apples that went between Cerrito-Lima and Carlos Pellegrini-Bernardo de Irigoyen were declared of public utility for the opening of a north-south avenue, to the present. Bearing the iconic symbol that means the obelisk and the Republic Square, as the center of your trace, this avenue became the most representative space in the city.
