Uxart is born, the app that created a museum without walls
Uxart is an application that came with the idea of revolutionizing the way of appreciating art, since it allows to travel more than 50 Outstanding national works and offers them in augmented reality.
This project is curated by María José Herrera and can be downloaded for free, for both iOS and Android. Its platform is also available www.uxart.cloud.
According to Felipe Durán - one of the creators of the application- to the Télam agency, Uxart is neither more nor less than "the dream of a museum without walls" and adds: “This tool not only changes the way people see art but also the way it relates to public space, through works that you can surround, cross, go down, look from above, offering an unprecedented point of view ".
This hard work started in 2019, moment in which the creators of this museum carried out the necessary tasks to illuminate the Obelisk with the works of Julio Le Parc, within the framework of the traditional meeting "The Night of the Museums".

In addition to fundamental pieces by Eduardo Mac Entyre, Rogelio Polesello or Gyula Kosice, the creators also invited the artist Marta Minujín to participate in the project, who reconstructed his emblematic work in 3D “Payment of external debt” (1985), an atypical point of view for this photograph showing the queen of Argentine pop art alongside Andy Warhol, and that you decided to locate in the access to MALBA (but that can also be seen from anywhere else where the user is).
