From this Wednesday and only for Latin America, Netflix users can enjoy "Matchday", an exclusive FC Barcelona documentary covering the season 2018-2019 of the team where the Argentine star Lionel Messi works.

This series consists of eight episodes of 45 minutes each and features the narration of the famous actor John Malkovich.

Originally launched late last year in territories such as Europe (via Rakuten TV) and japanese, now this realization can be seen in Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Chile. It will also be available for the Canadian screen.

The series focuses on the squad that had great triumphs that season, as a 5-1 about Real Madrid, his classic rival. On the other hand, daily images of the members of the squad such as Messi himself can be seen, the Uruguayan Luis Suárez, Chilean Arturo Vidal or German goalkeeper Marc-André Ter Stegen.

The season in which the series focuses was won by the culé team in a year in which they were close to achieving the triple crown, since they were eliminated by Liverpool in the semifinals of the Champions League and fell in the final of the Copa del Rey against Valencia.
