Netflix y Warner Bros. reached an out-of-court settlement with the authorities of a satanic group that had denounced that the entertainment giants plagiarized a statue for the series "The hidden world of Sabrina", which premiered at the end of October.

As they reported US specialist media, both Netflix -on whose platform the series starring Kiernan Shipka is now available- as Warner Bros. -responsible for the production of fiction- agreed with The Satanic Temple to avoid trial.

The Satanists had filed a lawsuit in early November in a New York courthouse for up to 150 millions of dollars for copyright infringement offenses, trademark violation and economic damage.

Although the figure that Netflix and Warner agreed to pay was not disclosed, the Business Insider website stated that the organization apparently got "the identifying elements of the statue of Baphomet" recognized in the credits of the series.

The statue in question, a demon depicted as a male goat with an anthropomorphic shape, had been duly registered by The Satanic Temple.
