After the good news provided yesterday morning about the return of theatrical activity in the Buenos Aires summer season, the evening meeting between entities of the activity and Buenos Aires officials failed to "set certain opening dates".

Consulted by Télam, businessman Carlos Rottemberg pointed out that "there is no answer for yes or no, but there is the will to try as soon as possible to be able to receive an audience in the rooms".

This afternoon's meeting was attended by the Ministers of Health of the City of Buenos Aires, Fernan Quirós, and Culture, Enrique Avogadro, and representatives of the Argentine Association of Theater and Musical Entrepreneurs (Aadet), the Argentine Association of the Independent Theater (art), Scene and Jorge Telerman representing the theaters of the city.

"We hope to move forward and soon taking note of the very good predisposition in the context of the pandemic and respectful of the protocol so that the theatrical culture in the city of Buenos Aires can return safely for the spectators and the workers and continue celebrating the theater", Rottemberg stressed.
