With different locations in different parts of the country and the ability to view free functions, The third edition of the International Festival Cordillera Ecuadorian Film.

This event will take place in two stages, the first will take place in the City of Buenos Aires and Greater Buenos Aires, between 4 and the 8 of September; while the second will take place between 21 and the 28 the same month in San Salvador de Jujuy, Posadas, Mendoza and Bahía Blanca.

Beyond its name, the festival will offer the chance to see not only Ecuadorian productions, but also on a national 40 percent. The aim of this meeting is to promote, dissemination and representation of the best of both styles of filmmaking and their cultures.

On the other hand, one of the aims of the Festival is decentralization, symbol of the link between the different countries of the region and in turn uniting Andean nations and beyond their borders by circulating their film productions with quality content, technique and realization.

Headquarters in the Federal Capital will be the Cultural San Martin (Sarmiento 1551) and the Manzana de las Luces (Peru 294). Meanwhile, meeting points in Greater Buenos Aires will be in waking Bar Cultural (Alvear 726 Quilmes) Leonardo Favio and C.P.A (Chacabuco 600 Bernal).

The film responsible for opening the festival will be "the death of the teacher", Ecuadorian production by José María Avilés, which will be from 19 in the Cultural San Martin.

San Martin also in the function will be held closing, which will be co-Bolivian Ecuadorian "Ukamau and Ke", also from 19.
