New edition of the meeting Buenos Aires celebrates Brazil

This Saturday 17 September the meeting will be held again Buenos Aires celebrates Brazil, a day dedicated to honoring and learning about the culture and traditions of the neighboring country.

With free and open access, the activity will take place between 11 and the 19 hours in Facundo Quiroga square, located on Figueroa Alcorta and Infanta Isabel avenues.

During the day there will be about 70 stands where entrepreneurs will offer typical meals, handicrafts and products such as handkerchiefs, banderas, rings, pareos, among others, all with the colors that so characterize the Brazilian community.

Among the typical flavors appear the classic feijoada, drumsticks, stew, and the inevitable pães de queijo and queijos de praia (the same ones that can be found on the Brazilian coast). further, for the sweet palate, açaí will be offered, brigadeiros and different varieties of cakes. There will also be vegan options, vegetarian and celiac.

On the other hand, different artistic numbers will be presented, The day will start with a Brazilian dance masterclass and will continue throughout the day with various performances of folk dances to the rhythm of the axé, hot, payment and many more, so that the public can enjoy a day full of dance and music.

This edition also brings a novelty: the renowned activist and rapper MC Soffia will participate in BA Celebra Brasil. Have 11 years of career and his lyrics speak of the importance of empowering Afro women. “I am eclectic with my music, but the biggest reference I have are the black rhythms, that are part of my life, history and culture” explains the young artist.
