Driven by the success of the film, Queen will begin a new tour
Worldwide box office numbers that showed "Bohemian Rhapsody" meant a real success for Queen, to the point of starting a new tour of the United States and Canada ... then it could become global.
The news was confirmed by the official site of the band that currently make up the founding members Brian May and Roger Taylor with vocalist (since 2011) Adam Lambert. The brand new show will be called "Rhapsody" and start in July.
Total, will be 23 concerts that will carry the group and, initially, will culminate in August. But the feeling is that the tour will extend, with great possibilities to be done worldwide.
Queen's official site describes "Rhapsody" as a "whole new experience" regarding the band shows. In this context, will feature an impressive stage production.
Ric Lipson, Entertainment Stufish designer Architecs, He told the website that the tour will "expand the parameters of what a live music experience can be again," adding: "This new show promises to be one of the most spectacular to date, an innovative and interactive celebration of the power of the music of Queen ".
The officer will kick in the city of Vancouver, the 10 July and will have a tour of great stadiums of the United States and Canada, including The Forum in Los Angeles (the last enclosure in which the original alignment touched in North America, the 15 September 1982) and Madison Square Garden in New York.
